Age Limit:
The upper age limit for posts at Sl.Nos.1 to 3 = 50 years, at Sl.Nos. 4 to 6 =40 years and Sl.No. 7to 8 = 30 years as on 1-7-2009. Age relaxation for SC/ST and women candidates is applicable as per government norms. Employees working under IIT system who are educationally qualified would be eligible for age relaxation upto 50 years of age.

Desired Profile:

COPIES OF CERTIFICATES TO BE ATTACHED:
Candidates should submit along with their application duly attested (by a Gazetted Officer) copy of:
a) Certificates pertaining to Educational qualifications/experience and technical qualifications (supported by appropriate mark sheets indicating the subjects offered at the examinations).
b) Certificate of date of birth.
c) Certificate in support of their claim that they belong to SC/ST/OBC/PH. However candidates belonging to OBC should furnish the Caste certificate in the prescribed format of the Department of Personnel & Training OM dated 2.7.1997 as prescribed in Annexure 1 of the said O.M to the effect that they are not in the creamy layer failing which their claim for OBC will not be accepted.

How to Apply:

Applications should be accompanied with a non-refundable demand draft of Rs.200/- drawn on Schedule Bank in favor of "IIT BHUBANESWAR" payable at Bhubaneswar. SC/ST and Physically Handicapped candidates are exempt from payment of any application fee.The candidates should write their name and post applied for on the backside of the demand draft. The completed application, with relevant certificates for qualifications and experiences, age etc along with bank draft in a sealed envelope addressed to The Registrar, Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar, Samantapuri, Bhubaneswar-751 013 (Orissa) must reach (by post only) the Institute on or before 22nd August 2009.
