Job Designation: Unix & Windows Administrator/HP Operation Manager

Job Description:

The windows administrator provides hands on day-to-day technical support for citrix and windows system. The scope of this positioncurrently includes support for over 100 windows servers, most of which are global in reach and some are mission critical. Is responsible for administration, uptime, performance, security and troubleshooting, participates in On Call schedules Principal Functional Responsibilities: 1. Provide technical support and documentation for over 300 windows both physical and virtual (vmware) and citrix systems. 2. Support Vmware environment including all aspects of server administration and hot environment. 3. Support IBM Blade and Cisco switch hardware, HP and Dell servers. Install/Replace hardware or firmware as necessary. 4. Work with users to troubleshoot and solve operational issues. Responsible for coordinating recovery in the event of system failure. 5. Maintain AD,DNS,NTFS,DHCP,PRINT SERVICES,FTP,TCP/IP,Citrix Metaframe and others 6. Provide support to Oracle DBA team and other Windows/Citrix team and Developers 7. Provide Tuning, Troubleshooting and Analysis 8. Monitor system logs and activity on all servers daily 9. Administer, verify and restore backups as necessary

*Review Customer’s network configuration options and requirements
*The Unix administrator provides hands on day-to-day technical support for Emerson's Sun Solaris Unix environment and systems. The scope of this position currently includes support for over 100 Unix servers. And will responsible for administration, uptime, performance, security and troubleshooting.

Desired Profile:

Candidate should have minimum 3years of experience in Windows 2003, VMWare,Citrix 2,3,4, Troubleshooting, Active Directory, Excellent Communication Skills

HP SA TWO CORE QUICK START MULTIMASTER INSTALLATION,HP SA IMPLEMENTATION, HP SA INSTALLATION,Deploy System Infrastructure
* Validate Customer provided system infrastructure requirements are Met Configure Network
* Review Customer’s network configuration options and requirements Deliver Database
* Review Customer database requirements are met
* Install Two (2) HP SA Core (2nd Core will not be available until a later date) based on existing lab configuration

Experience: 3 - 8 Years

Functional Area: Network Administration, Security,Application Programming, Maintenance, DBA,Datawarehousing, IT Other

Education:
UG - Any Graduate - Any Specialization
PG - Any PG Course - Any Specialization,Post Graduation Not Required
