Designation: Trainee Market Analyst - Preference for Specially abled candidates

Job Profile:
* Process data and apply in an accurate manner to the database using technical and financial knowledge to add value (this includes exchange and contributed data).
* Liaise with local exchange to ensure that data is maintained at a high standard Work with contributors to ensure that their data is maintained to a high quality ensuring that where possible existing contributors extend their level of coverage to new markets and instrument types when needed.
* Act as a secondary source of knowledge on own data, communicating with other departments and external departments in the resolution of queries on exchange data and historical data as needed.
* Develop towards being a centre of excellence on all issues relating to real time and contributed data.
* Adhere to Change Control procedures, Data Operations standards and current data policies and procedures.
* Ensure that the relevant procedures are maintained and adhered to.
* Respond to customer issues on a daily basis Alert internal and external clients when data issues are identified.

Desired Profile :

* BBM / BBA / B. Com / M. Com / MBA (Fin)with 0 to 3 yrs of exp. Active CA students or ICWA students are not desirable since they would need to take leaves for exam preparation at the time when the markets get busy.
* Should have reasonably good understanding about basic accounting concepts, financial mgt concepts and basic accounting ratios.
* Should have reasonable awareness about financial statements. Should know what these statements mean, what all components do these have etc.
* Should have good communication skills — written. Though no client interaction is required but still a person need to have written skills developed to an extent where he can frame a communication / paragraph without any grammatical errors.
* Should have interest in capital markets and has aspirations to make a career in capital markets over a period of time. Anybody interested in accounting is not desirable for hiring.
* Should be flexible enough to work in different shifts at different points in time.
* Should have basic awareness about computers and should be good on keyboard skills.
* Should be comfortable with data job. It’s not an analytical role.
* Should be able to work under pressure during busy seasons. There would be a need to over stretch during the busy season to manage the volumes.
* Should be a very quick learner and should display high level of agility.
